Dr. Steven Gianopoulos, fondly called Dr. G by staff and patients is originally from Oregon. His father was the first generation to come to America from Sparta, Greece.  Thus the long Greek name.  His father settled in Portland, Oregon where he and his wife raised two children, one of them being Dr. G.  After graduating high school, he attended Portland State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.  He continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1989.  He was offered a General Practice Residency in the Army, where he spent 4 years at Fort Wainwright prior to coming to the Mat-su Valley in 1993. He raised his family in Palmer and still resides there.  Dr. G pursues his passion of fishing and hunting and has some great stories. He loves sharing stories with those patients that have the same passion.  He also loves this beautiful land of the Midnight Sun!
